About Paul Bellchambers

I have worked for corporates, some of the global IT companies, and enjoyed cooking as a way to relax and unwind. I trained for over two years and qualified with a Diploma in Professional Catering. I also was privileged to have a period of work experience at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons with Raymond Blanc and his team. Great experience!
I started my catering business in 2009 having built a full professional kitchen at home. I caterer for many clients, business and private, and a wide range of events. Over the last ten years or so I have added being a resident chef on local radio, cooking and talking through recipes using local food. I founded the Wallingford Food Festival in 2011 and it ran for five years growing the visitors to over 5000 and winning three tourism awards in that period.

I was invited to teach cookery classes at a local cookery school and developed a range of courses that I taught at several schools. I enjoyed the time I spent teaching at the WI Cookery School, I also managed the school for six months which was a great experience. Sadly, the WI Cookery School has closed due to the pandemic and other issues.

I recently moved to the Isle of Wight where I am setting up The Isle of Wight Cookery School, as an online venture. I am also turning many of the courses I created into ebooks so that people can go through the courses at home. I am looking forward to sharing my passion for food and cooking through my courses here with you!
